Bavaria 49 Introduction

Opal Marine displayed the superb new Bavaria 49 four cabin version, at the Schroders London Boat Show, with a new interior design that makes even greater benefit of the spacious accommodation. This new layout is now available in addition to the 3 and 5 cabin versions.

The bright saloon enjoys an airy ambience, helped by the wide 4.46m beam which allows for comfortable seating and eating arrangements for several guests. In anticipation of owners inviting family and friends aboard, Bavaria Yachts has included 3 heads compartments, one with a shower. The galley is extensively fitted and provides considerable storage space and ample working surfaces for food preparation. The cooker with oven, cool box and fridge will please the most discerning galley chef.

The four separate sleeping cabins comprise one large double cabin in the forepeak, two double cabins aft and a twin cabin arranged as bunks forward. The ensuite shower room to the forepeak cabin has two access doors to allow additional use from the twin berth or main saloon.

As with all Bavaria yachts to date, Jakopin and Jakopin have designed an easily sailed hull which provides excellent performance with the minimum effort needed from skipper and crew. Safety is a key factor in the deck layout and all controls are arranged for easy access in a blow, with reefing possible without leaving the cockpit.
